Dr. Heather Elton
Dr. Heather Elton grew up on a farm in Northern Minnesota. She graduated with her Doctorate in Chiropractic, Bachelor in Human Science and Certification in Acupuncture in 1998. After being in practice for 11 years, she decided to follow her passion for nutritional healing and started her educational journey in Functional Medicine. She received her Board Certified Diplomate in Clinical Nutrition in January of 2013 and is currently working toward her second Board Certification through the Institute of Functional Medicine. Dr. Elton has been practicing Functional Medicine over the last six years. She also continues to see patients for Chiropractic care and Acupuncture treatments.
Dr. Cristina Sanniola
Dr. Cristina Sanniola was born in Bogota, Colombia and was raised in Los Angeles, California. Dr. Sanniola graduated with clinic honors from Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward, Califonia in 2016. Dr. Sanniola has specialties in pediatric and pregnancy, and is in the process of completing her certification in pediatric proficiency, through the International Chiropractic Pediatrics Association (ICPA). She is also certified in Webster technique, which is a technique used specifically to aid pregnant moms, and their growing baby’s. Dr. Sanniola enjoys spending time with her husband Winston who serves in the Air National Guard, reading, listening to podcasts, exercising, traveling, riding her bike, and being outdoors.
Office Manager / Insurance Director
Melinda has been the office manager for Movement Chiropractic & Integrative Wellness since October 2015 and looks forward to many years to come. Melinda received her Cosmetology License in 2010, but soon realized her place was in chiropractic care. She has been in the Chiropractic field for 6 years and counting. Melinda, on top of helping patients at the front desk, also assists Dr. Elton with her nutrition patients and therapies. She is originally from Valentine, NE but now resides in Lincoln with her husband Kirk and daughter Svea. She enjoys crafting, shopping, spending time with her family and friends, and traveling. Melinda loves to be around people and is always putting others first.
Christy has been with Movement Chiropractic and Integrative Wellness since May 2018. She Graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with her bachelor’s in Nutrition, Exercise, and Health Science. Christy is a certified EMT-B and was formerly a Medic in the Army National Guard for eight years. She can be seen helping manage the office, preforming therapies, working with Dr. Elton’s nutrition patients, and helping with the front desk. She love’s working out, her mini Aussie Bentley, and outdoor activities.
Christina grew up in St. Paul, Minnesota and loved everything about Minnesota, from the lakes, to the State Fair to the beautiful summer days. She went college in Nebraska with two athletic scholarships and graduated in 2008 with a degree in Exercise Science from Concordia University. Christina earned All-America status for track and field her senior year in the weight throw. She met her husband after college and has lived in Lincoln since. They are now raising their two boys, Kaleb (4) and Wyatt (2). Christina holds a Personal Training certification from the American College of Sports Medicine and now works with people on their health and fitness journeys. She has a passion for helping people get fit, healthy and having the best quality of life possible. Her health is important to her, so Christina takes care of herself by eating well, exercising daily, and taking time for meditation and prayer. She truly feels the better she takes care of herself, the better she can be for family and those around her.
Licensed Massage Therapist
Amber Fader is a Licensed Massage Therapist with an Associate Degree of Applied Science in Massage Therapy. Driven by her desire to help others to be healthy and pain free, she takes pride in providing the best therapeutic massage possible. Amber has worked in the massage profession for sixteen years and is trained in a variety of modalities including Sports Massage, Neuromuscular Therapy and Reflexology. Amber is active in her local chapter of the American Massage Therapy Association as Secretary and Honors/ Awards Committee Chair. Outside of massage therapy, Amber enjoys running, yoga, reading and spending time with friends and family.
